PROTEIN, OAT SMASH

Simples, delicious and protein dense. SERVES 2.


INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup of oats (I use Glorious Free oats)

1 banana, smashed

1tbs Macro Mike protein powder

1tbs coyo or greek yoghurt

1 egg

1tsp cinnamon

Fresh berries or frozen

Drizzle maple syrup

Shredded coconut, optional


METHOD:

  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl, minus the last three

  2. Mash together with a fork

  3. Place in a lightly oiled pan and spread the mixture out like a pancake

  4. Once you have cooked it roughly for 5mins, flip in half and break up with a spatula

  5. Cook for a further 5mins and then add to a bowl with berries and maple syrup and a light sprinkle of shredded coconut

  6. Enjoy on those cooler mornings.
