Protein Peanut Butter Dessert Cups

My healthy take on the Reece's peanut butter cups. SERVES 10


INGREDIENTS

BASE

- 1 cup of smooth peanut butter

- 1tbs almond meal

- 40g macro mike protein powder, choc honeycomb.

- 3tbs melted coconut oil

- 1/4 cup maple syrup, I used the zero calorie option


Choc top

- 125g choc drops, I used the Noshu sugar free option

- 2tbs coconut oil


METHOD

  1. Mix the base ingredients together and be sure the coconut oil is melted when you add it in

  2. Press the base mixture into paddy cake moulds

  3. Melt the chocolate drops and coconut oil in the microwave for 1min to 90secs

  4. Pour over the top of the peanut butter bases and place in the freezer for at least 30 mins.

  5. Enjoy!



Not calorie counting however just be aware that these are not an everyday snack.


Extremely yummy and great for the kids to make and eat too. The protein powder is plant based so safe for kids to consume.
