Eliza's Spaghetti Bol.

This is my niece's favourite dish of mine, I hope it becomes one of yours. SERVES 5-6.


INGREDIENTS

- 1kg beef mince

- 1/2 brown onion, diced

- 1tsp garlic, minced

- Dried mixed herbs

- 1 carrot, grated

- 1 zucchini, grated and squeezed of excess liquid

- 500g sliced mushrooms, optional

- 2tbs tomato paste

- 2 cans of crushed tomatoes

- 2tbs balsamic glaze

- 1 box of chickpea pasta or two depending how many you are feeding


METHOD

  1. Diced the onion and fry it off in a large pan with olive oil

  2. Add the minced garlic then add the mince once you have the onion & garlic quite fragrant

  3. Once the mince is browned add the grated vegetables and then the tin tomatoes and paste

  4. Sprinkle in the dried herbs and balsamic glaze

  5. Boil a saucepan of water and cook the pasta for roughly 8mins, once again depending how much you are cooking

  6. Enjoy with your family and friends
