APPLE & CANDIED WALNUT SALAD

INGREDIENTS

Greens leaves

Walnuts

1tbs honey

1/2tsp cinnamon

1/4-1/2 red apple

Cheddar cheese, I use mersey valley cheese

Sourdough

Flat leafy parsley

DRESSING

1 cup of apple cider vinegar

2tsp grainy msutard

1 sprig of fresh rosemary, chopped

1/4 cup olive oil


METHOD

  1. Layer the salad

  2. Pan fry the walnuts and drizzle the honey over whilst in the pan, sprinkle over the cinnamon and cook until a sticky consistency

  3. Remove the walnuts and add the sourdough slices (pending how many you are feeding) to the sticky based pan, fry both sides

  4. Once cooked pull apart and spread across the top of the salad

  5. Make the dressing in a jar and shake well

  6. Finish the salad with the sourdough, walnuts and dressing and enjoy
