6HR BEEF BRISKET

By creating less "friction" in your environment at home to make healthier, easier use this recipe. Set & forget. SERVES 6-8.


INGREDIENTS

- 1.2kg Beef Brisket

- 2 cups red wine (1 in the cooking and 1 for yourself!)

- 2 cups beef stock

- 3 gloves of garlic. sliced

- 2 cups water

- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 3 cups tomato puree

- 6 bay leaves

- 2tbs olive oil

- 1tsp dried herbs

- 2 sprigs of thyme


METHOD

  1. First brown the meat either side for 4-5mins in a large saucepan with a little oil

  2. Then place the brisket in the warm slow cooker and add the rest of the ingredient and walk away.

  3. Turn the meat at the 3hr mark. You can also cut the meat into quarters for a quicker cooking time.

  4. Enjoy with the ones you love. Great for lunches the next day in a B-free wrap and spinach. YUM!!
