THE BIG THREE

What is all the fuss about when it comes to strength training? The number 1 health and fitness goal that I hear from clients is usually fat loss and the second most popular is muscle gain. These are great goals however the most efficient way to burn fat or build muscle is through strength training. The fact is ditching running on the treadmill for a good set of dumbbells, with a structured programme and consistent accountability, you will achieve a lot more than you have previously. When you burn fat and build muscle, your body composition will change like you have never experienced before. You need to keep your body guessing without jacking your heart rate every, single time.

Why is nutrition so important when it comes to getting results? When you are training with a purpose, you want it to work. Fat loss, muscle gain, a marathon or to feel good, nutrition is always going to play a major role in getting the desired outcome. There are some really easy steps you can follow, that no one seems to be doing, well at least not consistently.

- more protein

- less processed foods

- more water

- less alcohol

to name a few. It can be simple, if you know what to look out for! Nutrition is just a simple equation. The less we consume and more we move the better the result.

What we think, we become. Read that again and one more time for goodluck.

We think negative thoughts, we become negative people. Even our actions become negative and that includes eating and the way we choose to nourish ourselves. Mindset strategies are so important when it comes to your health & wellness journey. You won't get the results you are after with the same thinking pattern you have now. Your body composition is not the only thing that will change whilst training with me. One resource you can use to strengthen your thinking pattern and get rid of the old "stories" you keep on repeat is through 21 for 21 challenge.
